Hello!  My name is Kaye.

I’ll try to make my blog topics interesting, informative, provocative, humorous and sensitive.  I believe all of us send and receive [Life] rays and the strength of these rays can be positive or negative.  I believe my inner peace rests in a mindful effort to conscientiously send forth positive rays to others.  Ultimately, then, I think the negative rays bounce away from me.

I hope you’ll follow me on Liferays.net and begin to enjoy some new life discoveries and inspirations.  I’ll do my best to keep it reverent, yet lighthearted, emotionally challenging and uplifting and, above all, honest and transparent.

Here’s what you should know about me.

After one year at the University of Minnesota, I chose to find my place in the world of employment.  In 1956, with organizational and typing skills, I worked as a legal secretary.  After 9 years of various administrative assistant positions to lawyers/corporate executives, I moved into the entrepreneurial business sector.   I had garnered the mechanics and contacts to launch my niche creation, my own executive search firm.  Soon after retiring, I was fortunate to experience teaching emotionally impaired teenagers for 4 1/2 years.

Besides making a living, I had two sons.  The younger lives locally.   My eldest took his life in 2011.  He was 46.  I want to share this and other experiences with you.

I’ve made good and not-so-good choices in my life.  Notwithstanding, I’ve enjoyed the privilege to have made my choices.  My life learning is vast and I’m happy to pass on anything and everything that might help others.

In 1990 I moved from Minnesota to Phoenix, Arizona, where I thought I belonged, until October, 2021,when I sold my house and bought another in New Mexico.  I’m now living my dream on two acres, DreamCatcher Ranch!

Life passes really quickly!  Grandma Moses started  painting at 78, and at that same age, I started my blog, ultimately wrote three books and made the major move to another state at age 84!  There’s nothing we can’t do when we put our heart and mind to it…I’m convinced.
