Grace

Life can appear as a whirlwind sometimes…and if I let my thoughts pick up and attach and define, I do myself a true disservice.

I’ve been able to observe change, my ego’s attempts to disrupt me even more, and my ability to hold the course of desired peace in my heart.

I am filled with relief, and gratitude, and pleasant surprise, self-awareness, and astounding presence. I believe I have taken a step upward in learning, i.e., upward in the vertical(spiritual) dimension, as against a traditional effort in the horizontal (human) dimension. I have made a conscious decision to hand over the reins and allow my Deep I to lead me. For those readers who are followers of Eckhart Tolle, you will understand what I mean here.

My understanding and spiritual progress is within me and that’s where it belongs.  There doesn’t have to be testament to the intricacies of my process.

It would seem I have created a conundrum or a contradiction; however, I’m merely trying to exemplify what a satisfying experience it is to hold inside myself the ‘meat and potatoes’ of my spiritual progress as I’m writing this blog, yet I want others to also know that it is occurring. I want to give others hope if they have been searching for relief in their own lives and have yet to receive it that it does come and at precisely the right time…CONTINUE IN FAITH.

Now more than ever I intend to keep my own counsel with the understanding that to explode all to the outside does in fact have a diluting effect to a point.  I’m feeling my strength impacting me within and it’s accompanied with a silent understandng that ego must stand down.

I hope this blog can be helpful.

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.

There are some things which are beyond definition

and explanation.  This may be one such time.     Gaya

It’s kind of like keeping my word…it involves being true to self…it’s about living each day on purpose.  THIS IS WHAT SHOWING UP MEANS TO ME.

As I continue to grow older (which is an amazement to me, believe me), I’ve become not only grateful for the opportunity to keep on living and enjoying life,  I want to show up every day with enthusiasm and eagerness as I greet every morning.  I want Porter, my little enjoyable companion, to feel safe and secure just as I try to keep myself the same way.

I want my attitude and actions to reflect just how sincere I am about giving as much of myself to this life as I can.  There is nothing about life which is lackadaisical as far as I see it. It involves acceptance and interest and creativity and sincerity and love of myself and other living beings and continuous reminders to myself that I am inextricably connected to, and unconditionally loved and supported by God, Universe, Creator, Higher Intelligence…whatever you choose to call it. And along with this, I couple with my Faith that I am continuously creating my own joy and happiness while I live  every moment, as I live in the NOW.

It’s not about making my mark while I spend my time on this earth, but it is about holding myself accountable to make my life count in respect and gratitude for the gift I have been given to live it. I want to feel that I have become better every day, as well as useful. I want to spend my time in a worthwhile way.  This includes resting in the silence of it all.  I always want to provide myself the space to acknowledge the expanse of the universe and what a small particle of it I am within it.  Appreciation for all the blessings and grace I’ve enjoyed is big too.  And, above all, Gratitude for this grace as I recover from my missteps along my Forever Path.

I am confident that my conscious efforts are supported.  I consider myself in a silent partnership with my Creator.  I exalt this.

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.

No question, I’m getting pretty comfy in my new place!  Porter knows our routine down to the minute, and I have found that my GRATITUDE keeps me grounded in astounding ways.

THOUGHT is great when it is constructive and innovative and creative and happy and motivating and intentional.  It is MY election to improve my surroundings…emotionally, physically and spiritually.

I recently completed painting the ceiling and walls in my living room and dining area!  This was a feat, but doable.  The outcome is amazing and such an improvement around here.  Next comes the kitchen, and other rooms too, as long as my energy and stamina and physical ability hold out!

What occurs to me this morning is that “accomplishment”  is also evident internally in my thoughts and emotions, as well as obviously in the visual, and it all has to do with my wellbeing. When I’m thinking  I’m already in the creative process as ideas begin to swirl, and these ideas are all about making ME happier!  It’s not about what I’m lacking or any dissatisfaction, it’s about how can I get a greater shine to my life and my surroundings…a continuous polishing to my whole existence while I’m alive!

Now I’m referring to ATTITUDE. It’s about helping myself!  It’s about my own proactivity  which spurs me on providing the constant link to the Ease and Grace in my life. I think I maintain an overview of my surroundings and my physical wellbeing  which ‘lubricates my life machine’, if you will. For a fact, if I don’t do it, who/what will?

I follow my GPS when I’m driving to an unfamiliar area, and I guess I use my GTA when I’m navigating my own life.

And, not to forget your ESP!  ~Gaya

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.

I got to thinking, remember the adage we don’t want to be on our deathbed and say ‘I wish I woulda”?

We all are the pearls in our own oyster! The trouble is, we mostly sit and think and mull over stuff.  One ‘think and mull’ is enough!  Next comes the ‘do I want to? and will I?’ part.

For years I called myself a ‘hip-shooter’. I didn’t necessarily mean this in a complimentary way.  Now, as I’m thinking about who I am and who I want to be more often, I’ve come to understand that hip-shooter describes me as someone who ‘gets to it’ without so much thinking and mulling!  We all get results from our choices, but if we don’t like these results doesn’t necessarily mean we didn’t think it over enough.  There’s a lot more that goes into the action of making a choice.  It has to do with can we handle whatever the outcome may be.

I never viewed ‘failure’ as anything!  It’s just a word!  I think what most refer to as failure, is just a result from a choice and it’s a pointer on how we can modify or improve our future choices to our liking.

We’ve been conditioned for so many years about preparedness and propriety, we’ve lost touch with our own inside knowledge…our intuitive side…our spiritual beingness… The Intelligence (some may call God, Creator, Universe) is unequivocally connected to us, loving and supporting and providing us with fabulous dreams we want to live.  It’s our Ego which flares when we begin to try to fulfill these dreams.  Our Ego gets in our way when it comes to how we make our choices. Ego brings up Fear!

Summarily, I think it has been a good road for me to jump into life.  Yes, Look Before You Leap is good…but most of the time we’re not leaping into an ocean, or off a cliff, we’re just living life from gut instinct.  We weren’t born knowing how to live life, that’s what experience is all about…trial and error. We live and we learn.

Those of you who have followed my blogs read how I tried and tried to find my ranchy thing.  There was a time I even stated I was squelching that dream and moving on.  But something inside me just didn’t let me!  Good thing too.  Last year at age 84, I once again took that Leap of Faith and sold my home in Arizona and moved to New Mexico and NOW I have my DreamCatcher Ranch!  All went smoothly and still does.  It most definitely was meant to be.

Living slips through our fingers if we let it…but there is Charm and Grace that exists for us:  We are in control of what we do and don’t want to do. I think it’s good to grab onto that brass ring! We don’t catch all of them, but in trying, we do catch a lot of them.  I’m proof of that.

At this stage of my life, I’m learning how to smooth out the rough edges. I may be operating a bit more slowly, but I still have intentions and motivation, albeit  it will take me longer to get it done!  Oh well, what’s pushing me?  The journey, not the destination.

Steady as you go…all’s well.    ~Gaya

Do things really change?   I did change my surroundings, got a new little dog, am meeting new people, have different activities, etc., but inside all seems to be the same.  Days go by, I still have problems to solve, attitudes to moderate, I’m always the optimistic thinker, have my spiritual practice and I continue to postulate my existence and purpose and what is required by me to gain equanimity and harmony while living as a human being on this planet.

I love it that I still marvel at life!  I still become aware of the synchronicities and what I see as miracles.  I’m aware of the support I receive from the Universe and Gaya (my non-physical friends).   I’m following my intuition even more, and I like my reliance on this silent leader. I’m enjoying that I take action on the spur-of-the-moment to make myself happy.

I’m strenuously working around my home outside these days, and it amazes me that I have the stamina, albeit not for more than two hours at a time.  I thrill to my physical strength and Will to do what I am doing.  I’ve developed a connection to this house and the land around it.  It’s like I want to continue to  fulfill my dream, exhibiting my thankfulness by showing it how much I love being here.  As I polish my surroundings I am polishing myself.  It’s my gratitude for it all that is expressing itself, I think.

I try not to take anything for granted…I’m more aware of my blessings and living under Grace, and I’m also more agreeable to acceptance of the not-so-pleasant happenings in the knowledge that life has always been like this and it always works itself out, one way or another.

I am reminded of the song, “Jesus Loves Me, This I Know.”

Life is Good. Thank You, God. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You, God.

You are recognized, supported and loved beyond measure.  ~Gaya

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.

What keeps me keeping on keeping on?  I don’t know any other way!

It’s putting one foot in front of the other.  It’s about remembering the measure of my fear is the measure of my faith. It’s knowing my gratitude for all I have and have withstood throughout my lifetime are Blessings and Grace.

I have my heartache like everyone else.  Though I do not feel I am free to mention it, this does not make me less authentic; however, it does restrict me when in my day-to-day expressions and exposure I try so hard to be exactly who I am.

So, I sit down like this morning and write a blog. I am wrestling with something that occurs in my life from time-to-time, and it is unsettling at the very least.  As I am in my silence, I try to stay level-headed, and invariably I go to words that are calming to me.  Eckhart Tolle says “Wisdom comes with the ability to be still. Just look and just listen.  No more is needed.  Being still, looking and listening, activates the non-conceptual intelligence within you.  Let stillness direct your words and actions.”

Fears are essentially lies I am telling myself.  I have no way of knowing the future…I fear.  The NOW gives me all I can handle.  It is my choice to enjoy this NOW, and create gratitude for the NOW that I am experiencing.  It is up to me to believe that I am capable to handle anything and everything that presents to me, or that I present to myself through choices I make.  The NOW is my reality.  It is palpable if I focus on it.  I want to appreciate what I am given, not what I make up out of fear.

Acceptance is the answer to all my problems today.  When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation…some fact of my life…unacceptable to me and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation as being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment.  This is my paraphrase of information I interpreted from Stillness Speaks, by Eckhart Tolle.

And finally, I receive solace from Abraham-Hicks:  “Today, no matter where I am going and no matter what I am doing, it is my dominant intent to see that which I am wanting to see.”

In my silence this morning, I have shared with you how I  keep on keeping on. I am comforted by this and I hope it is helpful to someone else when they may be wrestling with something that needs settling.

I asked for help and in writing this, I have received it.  Thank you Gaya, my non-physical friends, my guardian angels, my guides, all that is connected to me, that love and support and guide me, through my inextricable connection to that which created me, God, Universal Intelligence, Creator, whatever you choose to call it.

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.

Wherever you are, are we.   ~Gaya

I’ve now come to the conclusion that living life is the accomplishment of life itself!

Was it Laurel and Hardy who said, “Now that’s another mess you got me into”?  Looking at my life like this, boy I got myself out of lots of messes!  Now that was accomplishment too!  Coming through the tunnels of pain and grief and sorrow, self-hate, forgiving another (beginning with forgiving myself)…huge accomplishments! Falling down, and getting up more; keeping Faith and Love and Compassion and Kindness in my beingness after I felt I had been denied it;  finding an optimistic viewpoint, no matter what seemed to be existing to the contrary as I continued on my Forever Path – these were all unsung accomplishments as I continued to live my life.

Ah, yes, perspective:  as I produce a different thought I receive a different feeling which then produces another reality for me to consider.

Recently, I’ve been viewing my life in terms of dreams being fulfilled.  These were conscious dreams. These dreams were filled with wishes and hopes and ‘ifs’.  I wanted them enough to keep them alive, and this is important. But what about all the other positive results and happenstances of my life which I wasn’t ‘conscious’ of?  What about the Blessings I have received throughout my lifetime which involved Grace?

There is no need to bolster myself up and make claim to what all I think I’ve done in my lifetime.  It matters not to the world at large.  It’s the intrigue about it…that it has happened, in spite of everything else that has happened. I am a hero to myself, that’s all there is to it.

It’s GRATITUDE that fills me with humility right now. I’ve been doing what I came here to do for 84+ years, and I will continue to do just that!  It’s nothing to brag about, but it is something to respect and remind myself that whatever I have done has come through me, and then I gave it form.  This is what I do.  I conceive an idea, grab onto it if it resonates with me, and then I make choices which give my ideas form.  Again, it comes through Blessings and Grace and to realize this sets my EGO on its heels!

How often have I said, ‘there but for the Grace of God go I’?  Why would I  find it necessary to use the misfortune of another to compare my own situation so I can feel better!!

I have found another level of awareness…another shift in my perspective… Peace and Calm… I love myself more right now. I love you more right now. WE all are LIFE, not to be compared…we are unique unto ourselves.

Living is what Life is About…It is Everything.    ~Gaya

I’m comfortable where I am.  I’m closer to nature than I have been in years. I can feel that I am going with the flow of my life. I’m meeting people who fit right into ‘my way’.  People around me show me they like my company.  I feel the generosity of others in many different ways, i.e., from a freely offered gesture to be of more help, to actual gifts of sincere budding friendship. I feel my Peace.  I feel my Gratitude.  I feel I belong.  I am happy.  I have joy in my heart.  I’m starting to deeply understand “what is” and it is becoming easier to ‘let it be’. I think there is a ‘Peace of God which passeth all understanding’ and an acceptance of that silent personal Power. I understand the dynamic of making myself happy through visionary accomplishment and achievement and self-fulfillment.

Tomorrow is New Years Eve Day and I’m mindful how I want to revere this particular time of my life.  I have started a new life.  The few constants in my life remain:  My Spiritual Practice, my belongings, my friends, my son and my activities on the internet. I am not a stranger…I feel my connection…my Presence.  My surroundings welcome me too. Each morning I await with anticipation what is presented to me.  I feel my Blessings.  I’m aware I am Blessing my surroundings as well, in particular, I am giving my new home so much loving care.  I am Careful, i.e., full of care for myself and whatever/whomever I encounter.  It feels like I am within a ‘networking circle’.  Information comes to me as I share my needs and interests, and this can be through my thoughts and aspirations as well as verbally.  I believe this is the Universe, God, Creator, whatever you call it, providing what I need.

  • Matthew 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
  • I feel complete and competent. I feel uplifted emotionally and spiritually. Little did I know 4-5 years ago when I bought a warm jacket that it’s perfect for this chillier Winter climate!  Unwittingly, I came prepared to this new state and home!

I am building my Faith, it’s inevitable.  LIFE is such a gift. What’s around us is such a gift. Those we meet are such a gift. Every experience we have is such a gift.

Happy New Years yet to come to All. Stay Well, Be Safe.  Blessed Be to All.

That’s what I said early yesterday morning! Can’t remember the last time I heard an owl, that’s for sure.  It brings me pause…undoubtedly there have been myriad things in my lifetime that were so important at the time that simply slipped away because I didn’t capture them.  We’re told “Stop and smell the roses” (or the coffee). Then, there’s this poignant one:  “You’ll never miss your mother ’til she’s gone.”

I’m reminded that everything is notably important at the time!

When I am in the state of conscious gratitude I can list some things that come to my mind.  BUT, as I write this morning,  clearly there is much more specificity to life.  There is an urgency each moment and that’s what living in the NOW is all about.  It’s all these fleeting moments that have made up my life.  I am an artist, after all!  And my amazing life portrait is captured by my eyes only! The thrills are never gone.  The colors never fade. I am the beholder! All of life is special!  As long as I cherish my life, I’ll have no regrets.

I recall a live stream I did many years ago where I used the phrase ‘exalt yourself’.’  We ought honor and exalt ourselves and our existence.  We have such ability to always be the prize in our own lives.  It is an invaluable treasure we discover when we silently realize synchronicity in our lives; when we begin to grasp the broader scope of our Beingness; when life takes on this specialized opportunity of awareness.

I am at the tip of my own iceberg. I realize now there have been so many iceberg tips! Eureka! There’s always something new coming to me.  How on earth can I ever be bored and without wonder? What an appropriate time of year to express JOY TO THE WORLD! … JOY TO MY WORLD!

Listen in the silence, and see in the darkness, no need to question, all is right NOW.  ~ Gaya

Blessed Be.  To All Be Blessed.  Stay Safe and Be Well.

It’s not ‘same old, same old’;  I realize I make my life  ‘same new, same new’!

So, folks, I made my move.  I’ve accomplished making a new thought come true.  It’s about creation.  It’s about listening to my inner voice.  It’s about self-fulfillment, satisfaction, and self-motivation.  Now that I’m here and settling into my new home, I have turned a new page in my life, and there are new horizons…literally.  Life now presents a newness to me, and my feelings are that I’ve been waiting and readying myself for this time  and NOW THIS IS THE TIME TO ENJOY IT FULLY.

I don’t feel alone.  I don’t feel lost. I feel more like I have found newness in my life.  New friends, new scenery, new creativity, and most of all, I feel comfortable with all of it. This is living!

I am now catching the dream at my DreamCatcher Ranch!  There’s lots to do here. And, I have the desire and time to spend doing it!  There’s no rush…just greeting each day with enthusiasm and gratitude and an optimistic attitude. (Wait a minute…isn’t this the way it’s supposed to be every day? YES!)   And I realize I am always responsible for making it so.  Making a move out of state may sound a bit radical, but apparently, it was what I needed.  I guess the point is, when I recognized I had impetus for making this big change, it felt easy and doable and ultimately it was. Things fell into place…I had lots of help…there was no push and shove…and looking back, it really does feel like it was meant to be.  I guess all things we do are meant to be.

Life is a gift of experience and learning. And, it’s by our own doing we liven things up when we see we are ready for newness and change.  There will always be something around the next corner I guess.  But Here and NOW, I am grateful for recognizing what all has gone into this life I am living right NOW.

I am mindful of a daily prayer:

This morning I will say, something great is on the way, God sends his blessings to me.

God is the light of my life, the source of my imagination, God in the midst of me knows.

He gives me food for thought, ideas for excellent service, divine intelligence and an abundance of faith.

God in his love pours forth his goodness upon me and my life and world show forth his perfect order.

You are Life.   ~Gaya
